INSTILLING FEAR – INFLATED DEATH NUMBERS

Gov. Walz used a model, crafted by UofM Grad Students over a weekend, that was based on numerous unproven assumptions. It was guesswork. This model predicted that with mitigation strategies in place we would have up to 50,000 deaths in MN, and without mitigation strategies we would have up to 70,000 deaths. This didn’t happen, so what did the Gov. do?

In order to keep Minnesotans in a state of fear, and to justify his mitigation strategies, Gov. Walz, MDH, and the CDC, reported inflated deaths in the Covid-19 category. Per the CDC only 5% of deaths in the Covid-19 death category were “due” to Covid alone rather than “with” Covid. The MDH has 13,000 MN deaths in the Covid-19 category. If only 5% of that number died “from” Covid rather than “with”, that would mean only 650 Minnesotans died exclusively “from” Covid. And that in over 17 months.

“For over 5% of these deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death. For data on deaths involving COVID-19 by time-period, jurisdiction, and other health conditions,” CDC.
