CREATING DIVISION

Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community.

Gov. Walz throughout the pandemic blamed people’s behavior for the rise in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. By blaming some Minnesotans he created a dangerous division. He blamed Minnesotans for the spread and demanded they change their behavior according to his orders and mandates.

“This should have been over. The economy could be stronger. We could have more people alive. The idea that we’re losing 25 Minnesotans a day to a preventable disease that is almost 99-plus percent preventable if you get a vaccine is unconscionable. We’re better than this.” Gov. Walz, 10/15/2021

“COVID-19 vaccines help protect against severe illness, hospitalization and death…..People who are vaccinated may still get COVID-19…” CDC, June 23, 2022

“After 2 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, effectiveness against omicron was 41% against hospital admission and 31% against emergency department visits at 9 months” (May 6, 2022, COVID-19 vaccine protection against hospitalization wanes, Kaiser Permanente finds the Pfizer COVID-19 third dose vaccine protection against hospitalization from omicron wanes after 3 months.)

State agency employees working in person will be required to show proof of vaccination and attest to their vaccination status by Wednesday, September 8. Employees who are not vaccinated will be required to receive a negative COVID-19 test at least once a week in order to work on-site at all public workplaces around the state. (Aug. 11, 2021)
